Are You...
- Tired of surfing the Internet at slower speeds?
- Would you like to work from home but it takes forever
to download a file?
- Are you missing important telephone calls by being
online?
If you answered “YES” to any of these questions, ISDN
is your solution.
ISDN, as in Integrated Services Digital Network, is a high speed digital
data line. An ISDN line is composed of 2 “B” (Base) channels
that can provide speeds up to 128 KBPS (64 KBPS per channel) and 1 “D”
channel, which is used for signaling.
What do I need for an ISDN connection?
An ISDN line and modem, an Internet connection with GCNet or office LAN
and a computer that is at least a 486 with 32 MB RAM, 15 MB Hard Drive
and a 16550 Serial Port (for external devices only).
How Does GCNet Differ from Other ISPs?
Our ISDN lines are on a Centrex system, so you pay a flat fee for your
Internet connection as well as the line itself. Metered charges do not
apply.
