PURPOSE To provide disadvantaged youth with job training and work experience in a short, 6-8

week program.

SERVICES Provide youth with a paid work experience and work-based learning. Remediation for

REFERRAL SOURCES Self-referral by phone; appointment required; BOE's "Maryland's

Tomorrow" program.

HOURS OF SERVICE Seasonal: Mon. thru Fri., 7 hours a day for program and office (open 8:00

AM to 4:00 PM)

INCOME GUIDELINES Must be "economically disadvantaged" or eligible for free meals under

National School Lunch Act during most recent school year.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED Proof of: age, citizenship, residency, family size & income, veteran

status, and selective service registration (if applicable).

OTHER Priority is given to students in the Maryland's Tomorrow Program.
